I developed a set of class on visual studio 6.0 for Symbian applications for future use. I then tried porting the classes to Carbide env and all was okk. that was 3 months ago. recently i got myself a new laptop and installed the recent version of carbide, 1.3, and i started having very weird error messages. suppose we have the following scenario:
// Some functions and some member vars
// Some member data
// Some code
FailingFunc(A()); // ERROR HERE
when i compile such code i get an error message that says something like this:
"Can not convert from FailingFunc(A) to FailingFunc(A &)"
there is a problem with the refence when calling the default constructor as the parameter to FailingFunc()
As i ssaid this code was running without any error on VS and on carbide on my prev machine. I am sure that i used there 1.3 as well, but i dont know if there is a build number and if they are the same.
Can any body suggest a solution? Is there any king of settings for the compiler on carbide??
