How to close Setting Page programmatically?

When a setting page of Enumerated Text Setting Item is opened, I need it to be closed programmatically when it loses focus becasue a user switches to another application, say, a camera application withour closing.

So when my application is switched back, a user would see a setting list view
    not a setting page view.

Re: How to close Setting Page programmatically?

    Could anyone help me please?

The reason I need to close the setting page before switch to another application is because my application will notify a user something happened by sending a global message and when the user switch back from another applicaiton and then press OK or Cancel on the setting page and then my application crashes.

On the other hand, if the setting page is closed manually before switch to another application, when my application sends a global message and then is switched back, no problem would occur.

I have tried to search forum and documents about closing a setting page programmatically but still could not find a answer.

If anyone could suggest me any tip to try I will very appreciate.
