    Re: HTML/1.1 Range header field

    Hi Are u using Sockets or HTTP classes.

    With sockets I tried like this and it's working fine.
    _LIT8(KHttp11GetFormat,"GET %S HTTP/1.1\r\nRange: bytes = 0-99\r\nHost:%S\r\nUser-agent: %S\r\nConnection:Close\r\n\r\n");

    BR,

    Re: HTML/1.1 Range header field

    Hi,

    thank you for your reply.

    I am using wince API's.
    In httpsendrequest API, i am sending range header field as

    Range:bytes 0-500;

    request is going to the server but in response it is returning the total length rather than 500 bytes.

    plz help me, its very urgent,
    Regards,
    Thanuja

    Re: HTML/1.1 Range header field

    Hi,

    did you find the solution to make use of the http/1.1 range request option not using sockets? I am interested in the same... I have an application running, based on the http example available from nokia, but no headers are set to do range requests!
    Please, any help would be appreciated!
    Bye
