    Changing CBA caption and commands dynamically

    Hi everybody,

    I'm developing an application with a main view splitted into 3 views. I would like to change the CBA captions and commands depending on which view has focus. As I'm completely new to Symbian/GUI, I would like to ask somebody to outline what I have to do or at least where to look for.

    Thank you in advance.

    Re: Changing CBA caption and commands dynamically

    Probably you could use this peice of code to change your cba

    Code:
    CBA CREATION

    RESOURCE CBA r_back_cba
    	{
    	buttons =
    		{

    		CBA_BUTTON
    			{
    			id = EAknSoftkeyOptions;
    			txt = "Send";
    			},
    		CBA_BUTTON
    			{
    			id = EAknSoftkeyBack;
    			txt = "Back";
    			}
    		};
    	}

    	CXXXAppUi* aAppUi = (CXXXAppUi*)iEikonEnv->AppUi();
    	   aAppUi->Cba()->SetCommandSetL(R_BACK_CBA);
    	aAppUi->Cba()->DrawNow();
    also make use of the search functionality.you would find previous discussions related to these.

    Thank you Priju!

    SetCommandSetL() was the right keyword I had to search for.
    Now it works though I feel like walking on broken glas :-)
