    Application without icon in application menu

    Hello!

    Is it possible to create an application without icon in application menu but that application "start-able" from another application?

    I have an application that is quite big and the startup (frozen) time is quite big. I created a smaller application that starts a splash screen than starts my main application and waits for a signal to close.

    It works, but now I have two icons in application menu, and I would like to drop the icon for the main application and leave only the one of the small application.

    I tried including
    Code:
    	hidden = KAppIsHidden;
    	launch = KAppLaunchInForeground;
    inside RESOURCE APP_REGISTRATION_INFO declaration, but it does not work.

    Any idea?
    Thank you!

    Hi,

    Following is from my application:
    Code:
    RESOURCE APP_REGISTRATION_INFO
      {
      app_file="TestNew3rd";
      localisable_resource_file = "\\resource\\apps\\TestNew3rd";
      localisable_resource_id = R_TESTNEW3RD_LOCALISABLE_APP_INFO;
      embeddability=KAppNotEmbeddable;
      newfile=KAppDoesNotSupportNewFile;
      hidden = KAppIsHidden;
      }
    And it works for me.
    Try it out something like above.
    I hope it works for you as well.

    Regards.
    Kiran.

    I finally managed to make it work with these flags after a full rebuild, but I don;t get the focus on my main application
