    Hi,
    I'm receving an unhandled exception when i try to load an m3g file using
    Loader.Load(url) even though the function is envelope in a try cacth statement, i tested the code in k800i and it worked fine. I dunno what could be the problem. Pls Help. Thanks.

    Have you tried with a really simple m3g file? Does it create the same exception?

    yeah , ive tried to load just a box and a light, but still there's error when i call Loader.load(URL), I've also tested it on n6680 and n70, there no exception but the application hangs up. but when i try Loader.load(localPath) meaning the m3g file is included in the jar file all works well.

    Do you use any m3g 1.1 features? That support is added in S60 3rd Edition FP1.

    what do you mean by m3g 1.1 features? I can load an m3g file if it's included on the jar but why cant i do it if i use a URL as a parameter in
    Loader.load()? :-(

    What exception is it? If it's a SecurityException then it means that your midlet doesn't have sufficient permissions to open a network connection.

    As for the M3G file format, that's the same on both M3G 1.0 and 1.1.

    Thanks Tomi, I guess I should reread the JSR-184 spec too :-)

    That's the problem, I dont even know what the exception is. I have a try and catch and still say "Unhandled exception"

    hi freak*

    try widening your try/catch block, it seems that exception happens prior your current try/catch block,
    for start invoke that block which causes exception on user event (like menu item handler),

    regards,
    Peter
