    Re: S60 not detected

could be one of the following reasons :

If you installed carbide and SDK on different drives(its better that both are on c-drive-the default locations to avoid any problems relating to path)

second possibility is that you could have a different language windows(it doesnt find the folder name program files)

the basic idea is just to make it simple for the carbide to locate the devices.xml in the path C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symbian

    hope it helps
    goodluck and cheers

Also make sure that you install SDK for CodeWarrior (CW) if you are using S60 1st/2nd Edition SDKs. The SDK for Visual C++ (WINS) won't work in Carbide.c++.

For S60 3rd, there is only CodeWarrior version -> so you don't need to worry.

    Must be the drive problem.

Are you up and running with the emulator? I managed to build one of the templates, but there is nothing on the emulator screen, and it does not respond to any of the buttons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
