    Problem after building successfully

    Hi Guys!

    I was able to build my application successfully and I got no error.... Then I run it into the emulator... But the Application ICON is missing so now i can't start my application...(View-Based application is what im in).

    I create a .sis file and building successful. I install the .sis file on my cellphone... And same problem occurs... Application ICON is missing... It seems like there is a problem on building though it builds successfully... Can't figure out what's wrong... Any idea?

    Check whether this line is there in your RSS file. (For 2.x: YourAppAif.rss (AIF_DATA) and For 3.x: YourApp_reg.rss (APP_REGISTRATION_INFO))
    Code:
    hidden = KAppIsHidden;
    Change that to:
    Code:
    hidden = KAppNotHidden;

    Re: Problem after building successfully

    Which edition this is for ?

    Basically with 1st & second, it should show, if the folder name is same as the aif file's name as well as the app file's name, as well as the UID's in mmp, aif files match.

    With third edition, you should havbe the application registration file generated right, and the UID's should match, as well as no-other applications should be using the same UID value or the filename used with the executable.

    Re: Problem after building successfully

    Here is what on the package... (i just typed this, my files is on my laptop)
    Anyways here's the code::::::

    Code:
    ;Languager
    &EN

    #("PhGuard"),(0x0A5625F4),1,0,0

    (0x101F7960), 0, 0, 0, ("Series60ProductID")

    "$(EPOCROOT)Epoc32\release\$(PLATFORM)\$(TARGET)\PhGuard.app" -"!:\system\apps\PhGuard\PhGuard.app"
    "$(EPOCROOT)Epoc32\data\z\PhGuard.rsc" -"!:\system\apps\PhGuard\PhGuard.rsc"
    "$(EPOCROOT)Epoc32\data\z\PhGuard_caption.rsc" -"!:\system\apps\PhGuard\PhGuard_caption.rsc"
    "$(EPOCROOT)Epoc32\data\z\PhGuard.aif" -"!:\system\apps\PhGuard\PhGuard.aif"
    NOTE: My application is generating the PhGuard.rsc and all stuff related in "$(EPOCROOT)Epoc32\data\z\" that's why i place the path there... for additional question... Where am i going to change this so that *.rsc and *.aif will not be generated on said folder but on a particular predefined folder.
