Executing external app with Flash Lite on 3rd ed.

    Hi,

On S60 2nd edition, Flash Lite can execute external S60 applications with fscommand launch. On 3rd edition, it seems impossible, I guess due to capability/security issues. It even can not launch a hello world example, which makes me think that it is somehow blocked. Can any one officially confirm that fscommand launch doesn't work on 3rd edition? What is the technical reason behind that? Is there any way to overcome this issue?

    Thx!

I have to say that I'm not really expert on this area, anyway, was wondering how you are giving the name of the executable when using this command.

I assume that with 2nd edition you would use path & name, as you could do in symbian, correct ?

And in 3rd edition you would only use the name, since you can not access the folder where the files are stored.
