Question .mif file not visible on device

    Hello,

I m developing app for E61. I created .mif file with mifconv /32 .svg. & used it for app icon. I can see this on emulator but it is invisible on device.
    Any suggestions.

    Hi,

Find out entry for .mif in your .pkg file.
For destination path give "YourProject_reg.mif" instead of "YourProject.mif"

    Something like:
    For e.g:
    .....
    .......
    "C:\Kiran\3rd\HelloKiran\gfx\PrintKiran.mif"-"!:\resource\apps\HelloKiran_reg.mif"
I hope this will help you.
    Regards.
    Kiran.

Thanks for suggestion still application icon not visible.
Is color depth matters here? i.e. with what color depth we create .mif file and color depth of target device.

-I just opened existing qgn_menu.svg in the Inkspace.
-I removed default picture from qgn_menu.svg in the Inkspace.
-I created new picture using Inkspace tools.
    -I saved it.
-I used it in the way as i have described in the reference link.

    That's it.

    Regards.
    Kiran.

thanks a lot it is visible now.
could u let me know about std dimensions for app icon file?
I think u r acquainted with ATL tool with which we will be able to pre-test our applications against Symbian Signed test criteria.
I m testing my app with it , but facing one problem whenever i record app in which it uses GPRS and i tried to exec test cases on it ATL came out at 7 step displaying Cancled by user. Where is problem?
or does ATL could not support such TEST SCRIPT?
