    VoIp provisionning: Link between SIP profile and ToIP profile

    Hi All,

    After reading all Nokia VoIP documentation, and all related threads on Nokia Forum, I still can't solve the following problem: When provisioning simultaneously a new VoIP profile and 2 SIP profiles, I can't link them correctly - I need to manually edit the VoIP profile in the UI, and associate it to both SIP profiles.

    Here's my xml (retrieving all unnecessary information for my problem):

    <wap-provisioningdoc version="1.1">

    <!-- My VoIP profile definition -->
    <characteristic type="APPLICATION">
    <parm name="APPID" value="w9013"/>
    <parm name="PROVIDER-ID" value="IPtel Internet"/>
    <parm name="NAME" value="ToIP Settings"/>
    <parm name="APPREF" value="SIP"/>
    <parm name="NODTMFIB"/>
    </characteristic>

    <!-- Complete SIP Profile definition - Home profile -->
    <characteristic type="APPLICATION">
    <parm name="APPID" value="w9010"/>

    Normally, according to nokia documentation , parameter APPREF should establish a link between the ToIP profile and the two SIP profiles which we created. However it is observed that the parameter APPREF does not work and we are obliged to select two SIP profiles manually.

    It should be noticed that NAPID and TO-NAPID to link a given SIP profile to its Access Point works smoothly. There's definitely a problem with APPREF in this.

    How i have to do to use this parameter APPREF? Where can I take this information to link 2 SIP profils with one ToIP profil?

    VoIP configuration uses TO-APPREF parameter and SIP configuration uses APPREF parameter. Your idea is right but parameters have to be turned around

    Even you change it, I think you may still can not make it. For you can not make two accounts in a realm at the same time.
    try it!
