Qt Quick should be used for all UI development on mobile devices. The approach described in this article (based on QWidget) is deprecated.

This code snippet shows how to display error messages in application using QErrorMessage class. This type of error message has a checkbox to allow the message to be dismissed permanently (should the error occur again).
