Description

The Backup & Restore operation on the Nokia 3250 and Nokia PC Suite fails even if the applications have been correctly registered to be included in the operation.

The most common symptom of this defect is the information note "App. closed: sbengine" on the device display. The progress bar in the PC Suite application also stalls when the above-mentioned operation fails.

This defect exists in at least the following SW versions:

  • Nokia 3250 v 3.18 and v 4.06
  • Nokia PC Suite 6.81.5

Solution

This problem can no longer reproduced with the latest software versions of the Nokia PC Suite.
