Canceling the installation of a SIS package does not remove application files from the system but the application remains partially installed.


When 'Cancel' is selected during the installation of a SIS package, files that have already been copied to the file system are not removed. Also, the application is incorrectly displayed as 'Installed' in the Application Manager.

How to reproduce

Transfer a SIS file to the Messaging Inbox via Bluetooth or infrared on the Nokia 6600. Start the installation and select the install location (phone memory or memory card). When the progress bar is shown, immediately press 'Cancel' and select 'Yes' in the confirmation dialog.
Result: The application remains partially installed, and application files are not deleted from the file system. The application is incorrectly displayed in the Application Manager with the status 'Installed'. Trying to remove the SIS file from the Inbox results in the error 'General: Already in use'.


For developers and advanced users: use a file browser or a custom application to remove the SIS from the file system.
