Overview

This snippet shows how to take a screenshot in Python.

Preconditions

Note: The Image object method save is not available for S60 1st Edition.

Images can be saved in either JPEG or PNG format.

Source code

#Take the screenshot
img = graphics.screenshot()
#Save it to the specified path
img.save(u"C:\\screenshot.jpg")

Postconditions

A screenshot is taken and saved to the specified path.
