Note.pngNote: This API is not part of the public SDK. It can be found in the SDK API Plug-in for S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1.

Detailed description

S60 3rd Edition, FP1 devices are shipped with a new Music Player, which is not the same S60 Music Player that is delivered with the S60 3rd Edition, FP1 SDK. This new Music Player does not support the Music Player Remote Control API.

How to reproduce

An application which uses RegisterCommandObserver() and HandleCommand() of the Music Player Remote Control API neither issues any command to the active Music Player instance nor receives any notification of these commands.

This problem has been fixed in the latest software versions for S60 3rd Edition, FP1 and FP2 devices.
