This is a known issue in the e32def.h header file. In e32def.h, modify the following line to only apply to C++ builds:

static const char* const KSuppressPlatSecDiagnostic =

after changes:

#if defined(__cplusplus) 
static const char* const KSuppressPlatSecDiagnostic =
