Loading a custom font in an application may lead to problems when the user tries to uninstall the application while it is running. The installer is not able to remove the font file if it is in use and locked, and the uninstallation will fail.


As a workaround, it is possible to have a small executable in the the SIS package which will be run during the uninstallation (see SDK documentation on FILERUN and RUNREMOVE options used in .pkg files). This program will then release the file lock on the font(s) manually by calling
