Overview

In some cases (see detailed description) Java MMSs sent from Series 40 devices are discarded by S60 devices.

Description

Java MMSs with no priority or normal priority are discarded by S60 devices.

How to reproduce

Send a Java MMS (without priority or with normal priority) from a Series 40 device to an S60 3rd Edition device.

Solution

The workaround for this problem is to always set the priority of the Java MMS sent from a Series 40 device to either high or low.
This problem is corrected in S60 3rd Edition, FP1.
