Rostgrm - Plugin is useful

Honestly speaking, even today my team develops with this nicely devised plug-in and it would be nice to receive sources somewhere, if possible, of course. I hope we could try to align this to VS 2008 or better even to 2010.

Hamishwillee - Rostgrm - fair enough

Hi Rostgrm

Nokia does often open-source software so this may be possible. Suggest you raise on the discussion forums for Carbide or Open Source, cross linking to here.

Hamishwillee - From my contacts up the chain ...

Even if we still had ownership, the component has been removed from our offering for so long that there is no product to speak of (including business and RD ownership). Open-sourcing the project would require a non-trivial amount of work (code clean-up, licensing and IPR clearance, ...) and resources would have to be allocated for that. We do not see a strong enough business case to justify starting such a project.
