Best to ask your questions in the forums, where more people can help you. Assuming you're writing theme for Series 40 (you don't say) then you just need to download the theme edition SDK. The relevant forum is: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Community/Discussion/forumdisplay.php?130-Themes-Carbide-ui

Johnson vc - Note this

hi I had created theme for my nokia 5230 using 4.3 version. While you create theme these points you should consider 1)use the default one and edit it 2) while editing dont change the type of images(i.e almost all are in SVG so use the same type or edit the example one without changing type) 3)after editing no need of doing export step, just go to tools =>create new package , a optional key file can be added if you wish then click the finish. Send your sis file to mobile install it and enjoy Regards Johnson vc

Hamishwillee - Thanks Johnson vc!

Hi Johnson vc

I've added a section #Troubleshooting to capture your comment. I've also added the ArticleNeedsUpdate template to this article because it needs a bit more work to be up to date for current carbide.ui platforms.

Thanks for taking the time to add advice to other users - much appreciated.

Regards

Hamish
