Please note that as of October 24, 2014, the Nokia Developer Wiki will no longer be accepting user contributions, including new entries, edits and comments, as we begin transitioning to our new home, in the Windows Phone Development Wiki. We plan to move over the majority of the existing entries. Thanks for all your past and future contributions.

This article was pointing to old templates and tools. I've updated to correct links (ie Nokia Web Tools) but the actual text should be retested in line with the new tools.

Information about Nokia's web tools is available here:

To develop static web pages for a mobile device, you need the following items:

  • Computer workstation - a PC with a Microsoft Windows operating system, Linux or an Apple Macintosh is required.
  • Text editor.
  • Nokia Mobile Web Templates, which can be downloaded from:
  • A mobile device to test the application.
  • To test the mobile web page, and for more advanced development, you can install an IDE such the Nokia Web tools

You can create mobile web pages easily with other IDEs, too. For example, Adobe Dreamweaver has also Nokia WRT Extension.

To create your first mobile web page, see Create your first mobile web page.
