  • Create an Amazon personal account, you dont need to buy anything, and you can download free Kindle books.
  • Your email address is your user name and you set your own password.
  • Download the Amazon Kindle For PC client from here
  • Register this PC you are allowed 5 clients registered.
  • Check you are logged in ok and log out close the Kindle Client

Sample Chapter Symbian OS Internals Real-time Kernel in Amazon Kindle format

  • Transfer the two files into the directory "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Kindle Content"
  • Start the Kindle For PC Client from the icon on your desktop and Click home and you should see "Sample Chapter 01 The history of EKA2...." Programming", which when you click will open into the book somewhere. From the File menu click "Go" and "Beginning" to bring to the star of the Kindle Book.

Known Problems

Q:The main problem is that due to the age of the PDF file the Figures in the books have not been correctly translated as the are embedded text not images and as this content conversion process is not under control of the author cannot be sold Via the Amazon Kindle shop

A: Create a new Word Document and copy web page text and insert images into the new document. PDF format in publisher property, therefore the text must be re-formated. Check the text for grammar and joined up words
