The following code shows the procedure to declare a wide-char string in Open C:

To declare a wide-char string, prefix the string with 'L'.

#include <wchar.h>

int main(void)
{
wchar_t *wptr = L"FNWiki wide char string example";

wprintf(L"%ls\n",wptr);
getwchar();
}
