In S60 5th Edition applications, by default the dial pad can be launched by pressing the green key (also called the Yes key), and voice command can be started by long pressing the greeen key. The article describes how to disable the functionalities easily.

Call AppUi::SetKeyEventFlags(EDisableSendKeyShort) to diable the dial pad

void CHelloWorldAppUi::ConstructL()
SetKeyEventFlags(EDisableSendKeyShort); // don't show me the dial pad

Call AppUi::SetKeyEventFlags(EDisableSendKeyLong) to disable the voice command

void CHelloWorldAppUi::ConstructL()

and you can disable both by:

void CHelloWorldAppUi::ConstructL()
