Open C/Open C++ 1.7.5

This release is available through Nokia Developer.

Released: August 2010

Platforms: S60 3rd Edition (including all feature packs) and S60 5th Edition

Features:

  • Installed Open C/C++ packages now included in a device's backup and restore.
  • Numerous bug fixes.
  • Signed for S60 devices from Nokia, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson.


Open C/Open C++ 1.6

This release was made available through Nokia Developer.

Released: August 2009

Platforms: S60 3rd Edition (including all feature packs) and S60 5th Edition

Features:

  • POSIX signals emulation.
  • setdefaultif API to enable the setting of a default IAP/SNAP.
  • Use of /dev/null as stdio redirection media.
  • eselect API to watch for custom TRequestStatus objects.
  • aselect API to invoked a select asynchronously.
  • Support for the FIONREAD command on socket ioctls.
  • Support for text-mode stdio, available using set_fmode(). This feature closely mirrors the facility in Windows CRT.

This release was made available as a beta in conjunction with the Qt Tower technology preview OpenC-1.5.5b-beta.zip
