The JSR-135 audio player cannot correctly resume playing 3GPP audio files from the paused track point.

When playing 3GPP audio files and the user the pauses playback with the method stop() and then tries to resume playing with the method play(), audio playback does not continue from the audio track point where it was paused.

In addition, if the user repeats play and pause several times in a row, the player becomes unable to resume playing the track.

How to reproduce

  1. Download the test src code: File:Test
Implement a test MIDlet with the src code (and include some 3GPP and WAV audio files within the project) and install it to the device.
  2. After launching the MIDlet, select 'Options' with the LSK and play 'Wav'. Test pausing and playing several times with 'Play/pause' (also available in 'Options') while playing the audio file.
  3. Next, select 'Options' with the LSK and play '3gpp'. Test pausing and playing in the same way as in step 2. For the affected devices, playback does not continue from the paused track point.

Currently no solution exists.
