This article describes a comprehensive list of advanced package file options. Recommended to be read by anyone who want to maximize the benefits provided by the package file. It describes how to show text notices, localization support, running executables on install or uninstall. It also describes options like how to add requisite lines or limit application to support only some device along with conditional installation.

FILENULL on Symbian 9.X not supported?

It seems to work just fine for my S60 3rd edition applications. Are you sure it isn't supported, or does 'not supported' mean something else?}}

Hamishwillee - FILENULL is deprecated in Symbian v9.x and later, not "not supported"

Deprecated means that it will still work, but there is no guarantee that it will be kept in later versions. From Symbian OS v9.x/S60 3rd Edition you should put files to be removed in the app's private directory and they will be removed by default.
