Chintandave er - Thanks ! Renamed and Added Win 7.5 .
Hi Thanks for this nice article. I have sub-edited it.
I have added Windows Phone 7.5 category as I think this should work on Windows phone 7 too. and Also renamed this article and removed Windows Phone 8 and use general word Windows Phone.

Hamishwillee - Nice enough but ...What do you see the pro's and cons of using this approach vs using a third party library like https://github.com/facebook-csharp-sdk/facebook-csharp-sdk to do the heavy lifting? It is also useful to cross link to similar articles on the wiki like Facebook authentication in Windows Phone application. Also check for possible similar articles here: Portal:Windows Phone Web Services Articles

Hi "Windows Phone 8 development"
That isn't a very helpful user id.
The author may not be watching the article, they certainly aren't necessarily going to reply within 8 minutes of your first post - this is a wiki, not an instant messaging platform. Strongly suggest you wait a little while. You might also try private messaging them, or raising a request on the Windows Phone discussion board.
Also, another place to look for ideas is https://github.com/facebook-csharp-sdk/facebook-csharp-sdk

Not a problem, we are all learning. I suggest you post your query in our discussion boards, or even against the github libraries discussion area.
Hopefully the author may also respond.

SB Dev -
The easiest way to enable sharing in WP8 is to use a ShareMediaTask. It will allow the user to share photos using any method they have set up on their phone (that means aside from Facebook - if configured - they can also choose NFC, Bluetooth, E-Mail, Twitter, etc.)So if you don't need anything special I would suggest to take that route.

Anis Derbel - Disconnect From Facebookis there any code to show how to Disconnect?

is there any code to show how to Disconnect? You can just simple "forget" the access_token acquired. (Remove from IsolatedStorageSettings) No access_token, no access which means it is disconnected

Byron21 - Sample not working when you targed Windows Phone 7.1 platform
I run the sample and works great on windows phone emulators and windows phone device.
In the details windows there is mentioned
Compatibility Platform(s): Windows Phone 8 OK Windows Phone 7.5 NOT OK
I copied all files in a new project targeting windows phone 7 but when i tap the Connect button and enter my facebook username, password there is just an icon of my facebook application and the description and no buttons to permit or not permit the application to have access at my account.
Have someone tested this sample on Windows Phone 7?Thank you, in advance
