This article is very important for developers for understanding the architecture and features of Android platform. If you want to port Android applications to S60 5th edition using J2ME, this article is a stating point.

This article is very clearly about Symbian (S60 5th Edition) so why would the article talk about Nokia Asha, particularly as it was written in 2009, way before Nokia Asha existed, and when Series 40 wasn't treated as such an important platform?

I think it would be useful to have an article on porting Android to Nokia Asha that included this information. However I suspect it would say the same as this does in #Data Storage - use RMS. There are SQllite ports to Java ME but they are huge:
