Jaaura - Illustrative image or a video

Thanks for the nice solution, an image and/or a video would make it instant to understand what the solution does, e.g. where the icon exactly appears and how it spins.

Vineet.jain - Added a screenshot

I have added a screenshot showcasing the two styles of progress bars as discussed in the article, hope that looks fine.

Vinayppatil - Reusable Usercontrol

Hi andrejt,

How about creating a custom UserControl which can be reused. With current implementation developer will need to modify the control template at every place progress bar is placed.

Andrejt - Re: Vinayppatil - Reusable Usercontrol

Hi Vinayppatil,

you can put the style/template in App.xaml and only reference it in ProgressBar instances where you need it. A custom control wouldn't add any additional value to control's behavior, only visual style. You generally create a new control or subclass existing control only when you need to add/change its existing behavior, not change visual style. That's what templates are for.

Hi andrejt,

I added a note mentioning the same. Hope that makes sense.

Dr Chirag Thaker - Windows Phone progress bar

Let the progress bar take one separate tile

and recently opened sub-menus or main menu screed becomes visible to user in all other remaining tiles
