Hamishwillee - I shouldn't think so

This is for playing local mp3 videos using onboard codecs. There isn't any flash support as far as I know on on WP8 as Adobe have discontinued support for mobile browsers - check out http://wmpoweruser.com/will-adobe-bring-flash-to-windows-phone-8-devices/

Pasi.manninen - Flash

Hi,

this example streams MP3 *audio* files from the server side and plays those in WP device. If you want to know streaming *video* files to WP device you should read for example this article: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Community/Wiki/Movies_in_Finnkino_Theatre's. It shows how to stream MP4 video file to WP device. You are asking to use Flash based videos (like FLV) and it is not supported.

Br, Pasi.

Deab Sina - Deab Sina - ASP.Net

Dear Streaming MP3 player in WP7:

How can I use ASP.Net to create a Server like you use PHP?

Thanks,

Deab Sina

Hamishwillee - Deab, not best place to ask question

Hi Deab

Generally wiki comments are for asking questions that the author is likely be able to answer or which are relevant to the article - for example a comment thanking them for the work, or suggesting an improvement. If the author was an expert on ASP.net would they really have written the server in PHP?

In any case I don't think anyone can answer such a general question - your best option is to do some basic research on the topic, and then ask specific questions when you run into problems on the discussion boards.

Hamish

Deab Sina - Request

Dear Hamish

Excuse me, Sir! Can you show me the link that input into ServerURL? Because I still can't create PHP Server. private string ServerURL = "http://YOUR OWN SERVER HERE/StreamingDemo/";

Your sincerely

Deab Sina

Hamishwillee - Not my article

Hi Deab

This isn't my article, it's Pasi's.

However I don't understand the problem - you have to create a PHP server (for which Pasi has provided the source) and host it yourself. When you have that you put the URL of your your site instead of Pasi's placeholder.

Hamish

I'll try it again.
