Talk:Windows Phone 8 Scrollable List with Image from stream and Search functionality
Hamishwillee - Subedited/Reviewed
Thanks for the article. Is this supposed to be in draft still?
I've given it a basic subedit for wiki style and English. Can you please check that I didn't lose any of your meaning? In addition to making the images easier to see I've explained a little more clearly what it does - and given it some structure
In terms of room for improvement this is a little bit of a "code dump". It would benefit from some more explanation. For example, in the first section you show how you define the class object - its worth saying that this maps to the XML structure directly, and possibly putting a fragment of that data inline as well as linking to the file in the zip. If there is any official documentation you referred to on the DevCenter then it is also worth having references and links to those too - so others can find the same information you learned from.
Other sections that need "help" are "Code for search functionality" - this is just a code dump of the remainder of the code behind. IMO it is worth pulling out the code which does search and explain how it works. Again with references/links to the documents that helped you learn how to do this.
Does that make sense?
