When an audio file is played and a Bluetooth headset is connected to the device, there will be a delay of approximately 4 seconds in all S60 3rd Edition, FP1 devices. This delay is not observed in S60 3rd Edition and S60 3rd Edition, FP2 devices. This 4 second delay is also observed with profile ring tone preview.
How to reproduce:
1. Connect a Bluetooth headset to a S60 3rd Edition, FP1 device.
2. Play an audio file (.amr or .wav file) using CMdaAudioOutputStream or CMdaAudioPlayerUtility classes.
3. A delay of 4 seconds occurs.
No solution exists. This issue is expected to be fixed in future firmware versions.
