Series 40 Webinars - Learn and Win prize draw 2013Q1

Learn and Win is returning for 2013 in conjunction with the Series 40 Java and web apps webinars.

This year, each month the winners will be inline to receive a Nokia Asha 305, phone accessories, or t-shirt/cap combos.


How to participate

First, register for a Series 40 Java and web apps webinar. Then either attend the webinar or watch the online recording online during the week after it’s available. During the session a question and answer will pop-up, make a note both the question and answer. A week after the online recording is made available you will receive ashort questionnaire that includes the question and a number of possible answers. Complete the questionnaire and choose the correct answer the question. Each completed questionaire will provide you with one entry in the draw the month the webinar was presented in. So remember every webinar you register for, then attend or watch, gives you the opportunity to enter.

The prizes

Each month the following prises will be available:

  • one (1) Nokia Asha 305
  • x (x) phone accessories, such as charger and headsets
  • x (x) package of an Asha t-shirt and Asha cap

Selection of entries

Winners will be selected by a randon draw from all completed questionaire that correctly idenitfy the answer to the question posed during the webinar. Winners will be contcated by email.

In the case where legal restrictions prevent the drawn prize being sent, a lesser prize will be awarded.

The fine print

The main sponsor of the Wiki Contribution competition is Nokia Corporation, Finland (“main sponsor”). The competition is a competition of luck. No purchase or admission fee is necessary to participate. By participating in the Learn and Win competition the participant indicates his/her/its acceptance to these rules and agrees to be bound by them as well as any rules and regulations of Nokia Developer. You acknowledge and agree that no form of cheating will be tolerated. Any persons found cheating, as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the main sponsor, will immediately be disqualified from the contest. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the main sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to amend, withdraw or revise these rules and the prizes at any time without notice and in such event the main sponsor shall not have any liability whatsoever.

This Learn and Win competition shall not constitute a commitment or create a joint venture, partnership, agency or other business relationship between the participants and the main sponsor of this competition. This Learn and Win competition shall not either be understood to grant to any participant whether expressly or by implication any ownership, rights or license to any intellectual property rights of the main sponsor and vice versa.To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nokia shall not be liable for any damages arising out of the participant’s participation to the Learn and Win competition. The laws of Finland shall be applicable to any disputes arising out of the Learn and Win competition. Unless otherwise provided for in applicable mandatory legislation, such disputes will be finally settled in the public court of Helsinki.
