The Carbide.ui family of tools enable the creation of themes for Symbian and Series 40 phones. Carbide.ui provides access to all the customisable theme elements in the Symbian and Series 40 UIs, which are among the most customisable phone UIs available. Carbide.ui is designed for professionals and hobbyists alike.
Carbide.ui Series 40 Theme Edition 6.0 is available. This new version of Carbide.ui provides many UI and tool feature improvements, making it easier to create and package themes for Series 40 phones. In addition, tool and plug-in updates are now automatically notified and can be installed from within Carbide.ui, so you know you have the latest tools for Series 40 theme creation.
If you choose to install a version of Carbide.ui Theme Edition using the installation package, please remove any earlier version of Carbide.ui Theme Edition before performing the installation.
Note: Developers wishing to create themes for S60 2nd Edition phones or audio themes for S60 phones can do so by using Carbide.ui 3.4 Theme Edition.
