Series 40 non-touch

Series 40 non-touch devices support the following display resolutions:

128 x 160

240 x 320

320 x 240

320 x 480

Series 40 touch and type

The screen size of QVGA Nokia devices is 240 x 320 pixels and the aspect ratio is 3:4.

Series 40 full touch

The screen size of a full-touch device is 240 x 400 pixels and the aspect ratio is 3:5.

These devices do not have a physical keyboard, and have only call creation and call termination keys as the mandatory physical keys. Text input on these devices can be done using a virtual keyboard displayed on the touch display.

In the full touch user interface, you get more content area for the applications because of the efficient design of the status and header bar. For canvas applications, you can increase the content area further by opting not to use the CategoryBar .
